Does not feel in a position to obey Lord North's commands and play Macbeth, the most violent part he has; besides he has a design to exhibit the characters in the old dresses. Was going to try his powers in Hamlet the following Monday and then possibly undertake Macbeth, Richard and Lear. Ready to obey his Lordship's orders about Sir John Brute [in The provoked wife].
